Customization Phase

As mentioned earlier, some level of customization is almost always required, regardless of which product you have selected. Take into account any additional customization costs that may be needed in order to provide the complete set of features you require.

If you have in-house programming talent consider having the vendor train your developers on customizing the CMS software. This is where it is important to select a product that can be customized using a well-adopted web language, such as ColdFusion, PhP or ASP (Active Server Pages).
