Installation and Configuration Phase
Keep in mind that in most cases your CMS software is going to require some level of customization and configuration. This is usually not included in the initial cost to purchase the software. For more complex software this can become a significant additional part of the total solution cost. Be sure to get accurate estimates from vendors and include these costs in your budget.
Configuration also includes the web and database server infrastructure (hardware and software) that will be required to host the CMS. Note that larger systems may required development and staging infrastructures. This part of the process is often overlooked or underevaluated, resulting in "hidden" costs that crop up later.
Webworld is well experienced in designing and setting these systems up. We can help you work out what you need and how much your infrastructure will cost--contact us here.
